Facilities that supply drinking water sourced from water supplied by waterworks operators such as municipalities, where the total effective capacity of the water storage tanks exceeds 10 tons, are required to undergo regular inspections conducted by registered operators approved by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, ensuring proper maintenance and management (Article 34-2, Paragraph 2 of the Water Supply Act).
